Art is and always has been essential to the health of the human spirit. A life-long artist, I have always found great healing, peace and fulfillment in the act of creating art. The act of painting is part of my own spiritual quest, an attempt to bring together the seen and unseen worlds. Utilizing oils plaster bas-relief, pigment powders, metal leaf and various other media on canvas or wood panels; I attempt to resolve the apparent disparity between spirit and matter, heaven and earth.
I intend that my paintings be prayers for the world radiating love, peace, passion, beauty, creativity and energetic healing; stimulating and provoking the conscious and unconscious reactions of the viewer.
